La Piadineria is a Fast Casual Food chain controlled by the private equity fund Permira, with more than 270 restaurants, directly managed and franchised, located in shopping centers and urban areas throughout the country. The formula proposed in the La Piadineria stores is based on the offer of over 25 types of piadina, prepared with a fresh dough, entirely produced in the Montirone (BS) plant. La Piadineria stores churn out more than 15 million wraps a year and serve an average of 50,000 customers a day.
The company closed 2019 with 98 million euros of consolidated revenues, with a growth of 27% compared to the previous year (see EFA News of 3/6/2020 ) and is going through, not without effort but with determination and great spirit of adaptation, the current difficult situation. In the second half of 2020, La Piadineria inaugurated eleven new restaurants, while another nine are in the pipeline by the end of the year and will be opened as the current restrictions loosen. At the moment, the La Piadineria restaurants remain active everywhere - albeit with the service methods permitted in the various areas of the town. The take away is also supported by the click and collect APP, while for those who choose to order without moving from home in almost all the premises, the home delivery service is active, created in collaboration with one or more market players.
