Deliveroo, a food delivery platform, took a photograph of the most popular dishes, in Italy and around the world, right now. The report collects the 100 most popular dishes in the world and the 30 most popular specialties in our country. The list alternates between real "institutions" of food at home, trends born and established with food delivery, traditional specialties and new rising trends from foreign cuisines.

According to the elaborations of the platform, the most popular dish in the 12 countries in the world where the service is present is the Five Guys cheeseburger in Dubai, in front of the Pokeria by Nima salmon poke in Florence, which ranks second, and at white Mocha by Starbucks in Kuwait City, which closes the podium. In the special ranking, Italy is present overall with 9 specialties. The most popular specialty In Italy, as anticipated by the global ranking, is salmon poke in Florence, followed by that of Makito Casteddu in Cagliari (in eighth position in the global ranking) and by McDonald's McMenu in Pavia (17th in the world). The top 5 is closed by two specialties ordered in Milan, the Italian capital of food at home, such as Poke House's salmon-based poke and Giannasi's roast chicken since 1967.

Analyzing the ranking by type of dish, poke occupies 9 positions of the top 30. As evidence of the great success at national level for this specialty, increasingly appreciated as a healthy food and ally of the line.
