Crédit Agricole Italia and Ismea support the development of Giorgio Tesi

Financing to foster the growth and support of the Group's economic activities

Crédit Agricole Italia, which has always been one of the main banks in support of the Agri-Agro sector, has provided a loan to the Giorgio Tesi company guaranteed by Ismea. The institute of services for the agricultural food market provides companies active in the agriculture, forestry and fishing sectors with the guarantee for requests for financing, instead of the central guarantee fund.

Giorgio Tesi Group of Pistoia is among the main nursery companies in Europe for the production of ornamental plants, size and cultivated area. The company owns 4 other branches located in Grosseto, Orbetello (Gr), Piadena (Cr) and San Benedetto del Tronto (AP). The group produces all the species and varieties of plants that the Italian, European and extra-European market requires, from young plants to large specimens, from geometric shapes, to trees for cities and avenues, plants for garden centers and large distribution. A production that allows to export to 60 countries around the world from those with a continental climate to those with a temperate climate up to desert countries.

Giorgio Tesi was the first Italian nursery company to obtain Emas certification. The group, continuing its commitment to eco-efficiency and sustainability, has confirmed the most important environmental and company management system certifications at international level: Iso 14001, Iso 9001 and Mps class A. In 2020 it was authorized to use the brand of VivaiFiori quality, which identifies certified companies in the horticultural supply chain that guarantee compliance with agronomic, phytosanitary and environmental requirements applied to plants and flowers. Since April 2020 the company has become part of Elite, the Borsa Italiana program for the training and tutoring of companies that want to undertake an organizational and managerial development path.

The brand brings together all the companies of the family group: production companies, commercial companies, real estate companies, a publishing company, some service companies and a foundation for humanitarian purposes that was set up by the family in memory of Giorgio and Tullio Tesi . The loan, granted as part of the measures introduced with the liquidity decree, allows the company to continue on its path of growth in support of its economic activities, and confirms Crédit Agricole Italia's desire to be close to customers.
