Interpoma goes online with "Business Match"
The virtual event that connects the apple world
The world of apples moves online due to the health emergency from Covid-19, and Fiera Bolzano launches the Interpoma Business Match initiative for the first time. This is an online brokerage event, scheduled for November 19 and 20, which will allow all operators in the sector to get in touch with potential exhibitors, suppliers and commercial partners.
The initiative, completely free, was conceived in collaboration with the Bolzano Chamber of Commerce and Een Enterprise Europe Network. It represents an opportunity for networking at an international level, for the sale of specialized products and services, as well as an opportunity to discover innovative solutions along the apple supply chain. The product sectors represented will be: traditional production and organic production; equipment and machinery for growing, harvesting, processing and packing apples; control systems, data processing and software; measurement and control systems; storage and logistics systems; fertilizers; supply for nurseries; information and advice.
Interpoma Business Match will also allow companies to present their news and previews in an online market place. Each subscriber to the platform will have their own virtual space in which to upload multimedia content, text and images, with the advantage of being able to present them directly in special virtual business meetings to other interested operators. The meetings can last 20 minutes and everyone can build their own agenda directly on the platform. The professional operators to whom the b2b meetings are addressed are apple producers, buyers and importers, dealers of agricultural machinery and equipment, scientific and research institutes, start-ups in the agricultural sector.
Thomas Mur, director of Fiera Bolzano, commented: "The traditional biennial appointment with Interpoma has been postponed to 2021. The apple sector, however, cannot and must not stop: on this basis we are proud to announce the launch of the Interpoma initiative. Business Match, a digital platform of immediate usability and with great potential, which for two whole days aims to aggregate all the most important international players in the apple sector ".
The operators registered to date are over 100, coming from 25 countries around the world and it is already possible to consult the list and profile directly on the platform.
