De Longhi approves the distribution of the dividend

0.54 euros for each share having the right

The Shareholders Meeting of De' Longhi SpA met today, unanimously approved (89.46% of the total amount of voting rights) the proposal formulated by the board of directors for the distribution of a dividend of 0.54 euros for each share having the right.

In light of the good performance of the company and of the Group, the board of directors which met on 10 November had in fact decided to renew to the shareholders' meeting the proposal for the distribution of a dividend of the same amount as that proposed at the time of approval of the financial statements. as at 31 December 2019 (equal to Euro 0.54 for each outstanding share with the right). The reasons for caution at the basis of the decision taken by the shareholders' meeting on 22 April 2020, in acceptance of the proposal by the majority shareholder De Longhi Industrial SA, no longer apply, not to distribute, at that time, the dividends accrued in 2019, given the general uncertainty resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. The dividend approved today will be drawn from the extraordinary reserve also formed with 2019 profits and will be paid on 23 December 2020 (the ex-dividend date is 21 December and the record date 22 December 2020).

Listed since 2001 on the main market of the Italian Stock Exchange MTA, De 'Longhi distributes its products, with the brands De' Longhi, Kenwood, Braun and Ariete, in more than 120 markets around the world and has over 8500 employees. In 2019 it reported revenues of € 2,101 million, an adjusted Ebitda of € 295 million and a net profit of € 161 million.
