He will take over from Dave Yawman, who leaves the company
Starting March 1, David Flavell will be PepsiCo's new Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
David Flavell is PepsiCo's new Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. From March 1, he will take over from Dave Yawman, who leaves the company after 22 years to pursue other professional projects. "Dave will always be an esteemed member of the PepsiCo family. We are confident that his strong values, innate curiosity and unquestionable personality will be on his side, wherever his professional journey takes him", said the president and CEO Ramon Laguarta. "At the same time, we have no doubt that David Flavell is the ideal person to take on this important role. David is a highly respected leader with a decade of experience at PepsiCo, including as General Counsel for different business lines and geographies and leaders of our compliance and ethics team". Flavell began his career at the well-known Australian law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth, before joining PepsiCo in 2011.
