Flow Water appoints new CEO
Maurizio Patarnello (formerly Nestlé) joins the Canadian company
Flow Alkaline Spring Water has announced the appointment of the former head of Nestlé Waters, Maurizio Patarnello, to the role of CEO. Patarnello joins the Canadian company after working for Nestlé for over 27 years, spending most of his career in the bottled water industry. He was CEO and president of Nestlé Waters from 2017 until the end of 2019, covering brands such as Nestlé Pure Life and Perrier. Flow founder and CEO Nicholas Reichenbach will now assume the new active role of executive chairman.
"It is incredibly inspiring to see someone with Maurizio's skills join the Flow family and their leadership will help us accelerate our growth, refine our strategy and operations and expand our North American business", affirmed Reichenbach. "His experience in the premium bottled water industry and his business acumen will be key factors and will help us build a leading North American brand of mineral spring water and beverages with Flow", he added. Patarnello, said: "Flow has responded directly to the modern consumer's desire for high quality sustainable water and functional beverage products and is poised to be a market leader in the area. Accelerating Flow's growth will be our primary focus in next years. I expect great things to happen".
Flow is a brand that produces water from an artesian spring, distributed in Canada and the United States. Last year, the firm secured a seven-figure investment from Virgo Investment Group and $ 45 million in a Series D funding round.
