Celli Group chooses Seco for digital and artificial intelligence

Collaboration signed for development of integrated technological solutions

The Celli Group, one of the global leaders in the beverage dispensing systems and accessories sector and Seco SpA, an Italian company operating in high technology for IoT solutions, announce that they have signed a multi-year partnership agreement aimed at developing integrated hardware and “connected” software, capable of interacting with users through screens with touch screen technology and with control units controlled by cloud-based software platforms capable of managing standard telemetry services to complex Artificial Intelligence algorithms.

The agreement, signed in the presence of Mauro Gallavotti, CEO of the Celli Group and Massimo Mauri, CEO of Seco, aims at the digital evolution of machinery and systems for cooling and dispensing beer, water and beverages in generally towards devices equipped with interconnected intelligence with solutions that implement predictive maintenance and Artificial Intelligence functions.

“Consuming beverages through dispensing systems is up to 300 times more sustainable than bottles and cans. In an era in which the focus on sustainability will have to change our consumption habits, digital technologies play a fundamental role in offering the consumer new engagements and new experiences. We are happy to count Seco, an Italian excellence in the world, among our strategic suppliers”, commented Gallavotti. Mauri, said: “We are thrilled to be able to put Seco's technological expertise and industrial capabilities at the service of the Celli Group. Celli will exploit this knowledge to accelerate the digital transformation of the beverage sector through the use of technologies such as edge computing, IoT, AI in order to maximize the 'drinking experience' experienced by consumers and predictive maintenance functions".
