Deco (baked goods) grows in 2020
Turnover over 180 million for the Ravenna cooperative group

The traditional meeting of the members of the Deco Industrie cooperative was held online, a company from Bagnacavallo (RA) that designs, manufactures and packages household hygiene products and baked goods, both sweet and savory, in its own structures in Emilia-Romagna. During the year, according to a note, it has completed major industrial investments and saws the sale of piadina brand Loriana to Valsoia SpA with an agreement that guarantees the continuity of production and employment of the establishments of Forlì. The capital entry will be used for growth.
“The forecast for 2021 - stated the CEO Francesco Canè - sees the consolidation of 2020 volumes thanks to the new projects that will see the light in the first months of the new year. The good economic results, transversal to food and detergent products, confirm the validity of the industrial plan implemented and project the consolidated turnover of the Group this year to over 180 million euros with an expected operating result of over 6 million”.
“For Deco Industrie - continues Canè - the Covid-19 emergency has brought out, if still needed, how much the well-being and protection of workers is fundamental, especially in stormy moments like these. If Deco has not only held up but has even grown we owe it to the correct strategic planning associated with the effort of all the workers who have always shown their sense of belonging to the cooperative. According to the president Antonio Campri "this year too there was no lack of care that Deco Industrie dedicated to its workers, thanks to the determination of all partners and employees we have overcome very delicate moments, not an hour of layoffs was used. All members and employees in the December paycheck received a "covid bonus" of € 1,000 each as a thank you for the passion and commitment shown in this very difficult period. Scholarships for the children of the most deserving employees enrolled at the university and all initiatives to support the well-being of members".
