All’Antico Vinaio opens a flagship store in Paris

A four-story restaurant just a few steps away from the Moulin Rouge. Mazzanti: “The biggest in the world”

All’Antico Vinaio has taken over an entire building in the heart of Montmartre, in Paris. The street food brand known for its Tuscan schiacciata has opened its new French flagship location at 2 Rue Lepic, in the lively 18th arrondissement, just a short walk from the Moulin Rouge and at the foot of Montmartre Hill. It will be the brand’s second Parisian location, but above all, it will be a space that is entirely new in both concept and size, designed to bring a 100% Italian experience to the French capital.

Four levels spread across 500 square meters, four distinct areas that together take you on a journey through the world of All’Antico Vinaio. It begins with the bakery, where the schiacciate are made fresh daily on-site, and leads to the shop, featuring a large open counter dedicated to preparation and sales. Heading upstairs, a dining room with table service allows guests to enjoy the All’Antico Vinaio experience at a more leisurely pace, while the top level houses the kitchen, where all the preparations that make up the brand’s recipes are crafted, from pecorino and parmigiano creams to potato purée.

A true Italian home in the heart of Paris, where baking and cooking on-site means bringing an experience to France that is as authentic as possible: from the preparation of the schiacciata to the moment it is served.

CEO and founder Tommaso Mazzanti has personally overseen this new chapter in the brand’s international growth. “Even in the most ambitious dreams of an entrepreneur like me, who started from scratch,” says Mazzanti, “it’s hard to imagine being able to achieve something this big. To think that I started out with my parents in a space of just 18 square meters and that today I can announce we’ve taken over an entire building in Paris, just saying it gives me goosebumps. It’s the culmination of a unique and wonderful journey, just like our story. It will be the largest All’Antico Vinaio in the world: a true temple to schiacciata. We’re creating something extraordinary, which shows just how a vision, backed by hard work, courage, perseverance, and sacrifice, can become a reality. Ours is truly a wonderful Italian story, and faced with a milestone like this, I still struggle to find the words.”

The opening of Rue Lepic marks a new step in All’Antico Vinaio’s growth, as the company now has 63 stores worldwide and nearly 1,000 employees and partners.
