Table olive experts in videoconference on Wednesday 27
The meeting organized by the International Olive Council

Meeting will be translated simultaneously in English, French, Italian and Spanish
COI, the International Olive Council (IOC) informs that the day after tomorrow Wednesday 27 January 2021 a group of officially appointed table olive experts will meet by videoconference. Simultaneous translation will be provided in English, French, Italian and Spanish. From 10:00 to 12:00 the team will discuss the global standard and norms applicable to table olives and any proposals from the participants. From 12:30 to 14:30, on the other hand, experts in organoleptic evaluation of table olives will examine the current situation in terms of sensory analysis and will establish any priorities for future work.
The International Olive Council is the only international intergovernmental organization in the olive oil and table olives sector. It was established in Madrid, Spain, in 1959, under the auspices of the United Nations. The IOC is a decisive player in contributing to the sustainable and responsible development of olive growing, and serves as a global forum to discuss policy issues and address the industry's present and future challenges.
