Fieravicola changes date

Appointment from 7-9 September, for the first time at the Rimini Expo Center

Fieravicola meets in Rimini from 7 to 9 September for a new edition in the name of internationalization. The event moves the new date to September precisely in order to guarantee the irreplaceable modality of a “traditional” fair which has its cornerstones in personal relationships and business contacts. The desire to meet in the exhibition halls convinced the organizers to postpone the important relaunch of this event which aims to be a specialized showcase in which to present the entire production process of the poultry sector, its excellences and the innovative path undertaken by the supply chain in sustainable perspective, animal welfare and attention to consumer sensitivity. The new date also confirms the strategic synergy with an international event such as Macfrut (see EFA News article of 5-2-21), which will be held in the same days at the Rimini Expo Center, with the aim of building an authentic specialized agribusiness center.

From an international perspective, the target countries identified to create new business opportunities both for technologies and for the finished product are Germany, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Denmark and Sweden, Eastern European countries, Russia and North Africa. African countries were at the center of the first international presentation of Fieravicola in the webinar organized by Cesena Fiera in collaboration with Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo. During the approach to the event, other presentations to foreign countries are planned both remotely and in person if the pandemic situation allows, according to a calendar developed with the important contribution of Ice, which intervenes for the first time in support of Fieravicola.

Among the important international innovations is the agreement with the Eurasian Poultry Association for the creation of the International Poultry Forum at the Rimini Expo center, a reference event for the poultry world, not only in Russia, which has been successfully organized for 27 years, and it will see the participation of poultry producers from the 15 associated countries and Italian companies. To support the commercial part, a Retailer Business Lounge will be set up within the fair, an exclusive area dedicated to meetings between large-scale distribution and Italian distributors with exhibitors, for previously scheduled meetings. There will also be an agenda of b2b meetings with foreign buyers both face to face and online, providing, thanks to the opportunities of the digital world, the poultry industry exhibitors the possibility of contacts even with those who are not physically present at the fair. At the center of the 2021 edition, a rich conference will be held with a focus on technical meetings and key issues such as animal welfare, sustainability and biosecurity.
