Fantini lands in Spain with Finca Fella

It aims to internationalize with high-end wines

Fantini Group lands in Spain with Finca Fella. The wine group founded in Abruzzo by Valentino Sciotti, leader among the exporting companies of Southern Italy, welcomes in its system the Iberian wine reality, located in the Castilla-La Mancha region. Fantini does not buy the land, he leaves it to the farmers who cultivate it, and this philosophy will also be followed for Finca Fella. The total 1300-1400 hectares will remain entrusted to their owners who will be supported by a team of winemakers from the group.

"Our success derives from the initial decision to look for large old vines in Southern Italy, in short, outside the most famous regions", explains Sciotti, "here we will do the same, in another Southern European that fits perfectly into our model".

"Fantini Group - adds the patron - thanks to Finca Fella will make its catalog international and will offer bottles in the style of the group, that is, high quality range".

Fantini, which last year was taken over by the private equity Platinum, will close 2020 with a 4-6% growth in turnover to over 80 million euros and a stable Ebitda of around 17.5 million, compared to 25 million of bottles produced.
