Arsenale takes over Hotel de La Minerve in Rome

The property will be renovated and entrusted to Accor for management

Arsenale Spa, active in hospitality, has signed a preliminary purchase agreement for the vehicle that controls the historic Hotel de La Minerve in Rome, in the homonymous square behind the Pantheon. An operation, explains a note, "which will lead to a complete luxury renovation of the iconic 17th century structure. The operation is part of Arsenale's development strategy, which envisages the enhancement of valuable Italian assets in the sector of luxury alongside the largest international brands, to create a new avant-garde and high-level hospitality, ready to face the challenges of the tourism market of the next decade".

The signing of the preliminary agreement between Arsenale Spa and the Billi family, owner and manager of the Hotel de La Minerve for 30 years, has started a total renovation process of the building, at the end of which the management will be entrusted to the Orient Express brand, part of the Accor Group.
