Domino's Pizza: retail sales are growing
21.7% for the fourth quarter and 12.5% for the fiscal year 2020

Domino's Pizza Inc., the largest pizza company in the world, announced financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year 2020, including growth in global retail sales, store sales and earnings per share. "We celebrated our 60th year in business in 2020 and while it was a busy year it was also a year that saw the Domino's brand expand worldwide", said Ritch Allison, executive director of Domino's.
Global retail sales increased 21.7% in the fourth quarter and 12.5% in fiscal 2020. Sales in US restaurants increased 11.2% during the quarter and 11.5% throughout the year. International business was also positive, with sales growth of 7.3% in the quarter and 4.4% for the full year. The company recorded 116 new openings in the United States and 272 store openings worldwide. In fiscal 2020, the company reports 624 total store openings, including 229 openings in the United States and 395 openings in the rest of the world. The global stores at September 6, 2020 are 17,256.
On February 24, 2021, the company's board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of $ 0.94 per common share, up 20.5% from the previous quarter's dividend amount.
