PE's Clessidra and Magneter confirm entry into Acque Minerali d'Italia
Definitive ok to the arrangement with a capital increase of 50 million
The private equity funds Magneter and Clessidra will receive the majority with an increase of 50 million euros, as anticipated by EFA News last 8/1/2021. Acque Minerali d'Italia was definitively admitted to the agreement in continuity by the Court of Milan. This was announced by the group that controls, among others, the Norda, Sangemini and Gaudianello brands. "One of the largest groups in the mineral water sector in Italy has been secured and will be able to continue to produce, design and invest also thanks to the contribution of two investment funds, the American Magnetar and the Italian Clessidra. In fact, upon definitive approval, the two funds will subscribe the capital increase for a total of 50 million euros, becoming majority shareholders of the Ami group in a team that will see the Pessina family remain in the shareholding structure. A hearing for creditors has also been set for 6 September 2021.
