Dedicato of Granoro is Pesticide Free and Glyfosate Free
The pasta factory obtains the certification that guarantees the absence of residues of phytosanitary products

Granoro “Dedicato”, the production chain pasta with 100% Puglia wheat launched in 2012 by Granoro, is enriched with a new certification. From today, the company's brand products are certified "Pesticide Free and Glyfosate Free". This is a certification conducted by a third party (DNV-Gl) aimed at guaranteeing the absence, (understood as a technical zero), of residues of plant protection products "through a careful and intense analytical monitoring activity along the entire production chain, from the field to the packet of pasta", says a press release.
"The exclusive use of Apulian durum wheat represents a great advantage from this point of view because it is in this area that the best durum wheat in Italy has always been grown, which naturally ripens in the sun, without the use of chemicals. Puglia is the land that gave rise to durum wheat and due to its pedoclimatic conditions it represents the ideal range in which even the development of some pathogens such as mycotoxins is almost limited. For this reason the product certification 'without pesticides' is the just crowning the work and commitment that our farmers and our agronomists carry out every day, respecting the 'Dedicated' production specification and the guidelines for a healthy and correct application of good cultivation practices", explain the company.
The "pesticide free and glyphosate free" certification is added to those already in possession, such as the "Iso 22005 Supply Chain" and "Puglia Quality Products" certification which guarantee the traceability of the wheat from field to table and the correct application of all good manufacturing practices.
