It is no coincidence that in the week from 10 to 16 May 2021, the International Fruits and Vegetables Week and the new We're Smart Academy started at the same time. The academy brings together international chefs who will share their experience on healthy and ecological cooking through cookbooks, manuals, webinars and sessions with other chefs, food companies and consumers. An initiative that will continue until 20 September when the new Green Guide will be launched, the annual guide dedicated to the best sustainable catering and oriented towards the consumption of fruit and vegetables. Together with its Academy, We're Smart World, the Belgian association that promotes a style of catering oriented towards sustainability and the use of vegetables and fruit at the heart of the culinary offer, launches the new “5 Radishes” Chefs Club. collective brings together the 79 best vegetable restaurants in the world that have obtained the prestigious "5 Radishes" (radishes) rating. The "Radishes" constitute the evaluation system proposed by the Green Guide.

Furthermore, as part of this fruit and vegetable week, We're Smart World has launched a manual containing 51 different techniques for cooking fruit and vegetables along with numerous recipes. The academy will also regularly publish a series of cookbooks aimed at inspiring both professional and amateur chefs.
The 5 Radishes Chefs Club was also launched on 10 May: a club whose membership is strictly reserved for chefs from the best vegetable restaurants in the world who have obtained the coveted "5 radishes" rating in the culinary section of the We're Smart Green. Guides. Among the selection criteria to obtain the score of 5 radishes are the peculiarity of using fruit and vegetables in at least two thirds of the menu and the great attention to local and sustainable products, together with having systems to limit the consumption of water and energy. inside the room.
