The Raccioppoli Group, a company engaged in the production of sustainable Food Packs, flexible packaging and personal protective equipment, with the support of Mauro Distribuzione (Espresso Napoletano), a brand of Neapolitan haute patisserie, has taken over the historic “Bar Calise Ischia”. "We decided to take over what is to all intents and purposes a real institution for the whole island", says Domenico Raccioppoli, CEO of the Group, "immediately setting ourselves a double objective: we immediately achieved the first, that is to safeguard and protect all sixty employees in force, all of whom have been confirmed even with the change of ownership. The second objective is to be able to export the famous 'Ischitano cornetto' from Calise on a daily basis, anywhere in the world. With our know-how we aim to bring a symbol of the island and of the Ischitanity to the table of anyone who wishes it and wherever it is, thus promoting the brand 365 days a year, through its tastes and flavors".

The Raccioppoli Group has been active since 1980. Raccioppoli, a second generation entrepreneur, in 2018 inaugurated a new 55,000 sq m hi-tech plant in the industrial area of Marcianise (Ce). Here, thanks to a totally private investment of over 5 million euros, the industrial medical center of the South has been active since June 2020, with the first supply chain of personal protective equipment, where surgical masks and FFP2 are produced, from meltblown (raw material) to packaging, totally made in Italy. In addition, another important investment was made in the "historic" area, dedicated to Food Packaging: in this case, with a commitment of 2.5 million, a new plant was purchased and installed that allows for a significant increase in the production of film, reaching a total production capacity of approximately 18 million linear meters printed per month, paying an obsessive attention to environmental sustainability. The Group has 140 employees and can boast an annual turnover of over 40 million euros.

Mauro Distribuzione (Neapolitan Espresso) boasts four locations (three distributed between Naples and the province, as well as one in Menton in France).
