Wagamama: new opening in City Life Shopping District

Second opening in Milan, the fourth in Italy

Wagamama, a concept managed in Italy by the company C&P (Chef Express and Percassi), opens its second restaurant in Milan. In the heart of City Life, inside the Food Hall of the Shopping District, a space entirely dedicated to pan-Asian cuisine, characterized by an elegant design with an international flair.

The British-origin Asian-food restaurant chain was born in London in 1992, specializing in the casual dining segment, is present in 22 countries around the world, with 190 restaurants; the next will be the fourth opened in Italy. The partnership with C&P was born in 2019 with the aim of creating a reference operator, dedicated to the sector of shopping centers, city centers, outlets and retail parks.

The new restaurant in City Life will have a large open window from the kitchen to the dining room; the total covers will be 223, of which 159 internal and 64 external; the menu will offer a choice of over 50 dishes. The dishes will be prepared according to an innovative, healthy and natural philosophy. There will also be the traditional Wagamama centrifuges, the ramen bowls currently in vogue, noodles soups, donburi, teppanyaki, the famous Japanese gyoza ravioli, and iconic dishes such as chicken katsu curry.

The restaurant will also offer the "Take Away" service, for which an ecological and sustainable packaging has been studied. The chain has its own dedicated app, which offers the possibility of booking online, making payment, consulting the local news and events, ordering take-away and accumulating points that will guarantee promotions and advantages.

Cristian Biasoni , CEO of C&P, commented: "wagamama confirms once again the passion of our company to develop innovative projects, with a clear positioning and a strong brand identity, which can be replicated. Despite the uncertainty created by the pandemic, we continue to investing in the growth of our activities. In particular, we believe in this concept and its strength: this is why our development plan foresees around 20 openings in the coming years ".
