PepsiCo declares quarterly dividend
A 7% increase versus the comparable year-earlier period
Declared a quarterly dividend of $0.805 per share of PepsiCo common stock
The Board of Directors of PepsiCo, Inc. today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.805 per share of PepsiCo common stock, a 7% increase versus the comparable year-earlier period. Today's action is consistent with PepsiCo's previously announced increase in its annualized dividend to $3.22 per share from $3.01 per share, which began with the June 2017 payment. This dividend is payable on January 8, 2018 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 1, 2017. PepsiCo has paid consecutive quarterly cash dividends since 1965, and 2017 marks the company's 45th consecutive annual dividend increase.
PepsiCo products are enjoyed by consumers one billion times a day in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. PepsiCo generated approximately $63 billion in net revenue in 2016, driven by a complementary food and beverage portfolio that includes Frito-Lay, Gatorade, Pepsi-Cola, Quaker and Tropicana. PepsiCo's product portfolio includes a wide range of enjoyable foods and beverages, including 22 brands that generate more than $1 billion each in estimated annual retail sales.
