Vinitaly Russia: Italian wine coming to the Russian market

Pier Paolo Celeste, the director of Ice in Moscow: "182.716 liters of italian wine were sold during the period from January to August 2017”

"Russia is a market with a great potential in which Veronafiere will continue to invest". This is the declaration released  by the president of Veronafiere spa, Maurizio Danese, who participated in the 14th edition of Vinitaly International in Russia. Organized in collaboration with Ice, In the context of the extraordinary promotion of Made in Italy by Mise (italian Ministry for Economic Development), Vinitaly Russia will be sponsor with over 200 bottles of wine of "Bazar italiano", on 25 and 26 November at the Italian Embassy in Moscow.

In the program of the event, which was presented by Vinitaly- Veronafiere in Moscow, and later moved to S.Petersburg, there were also tasting and special sessions by Italian wine Ambassadors, certified by the brand of Veronafiere to discover the great variety of italian regional enology. “Russia represents the sixth world market for our exports” sayd Danese and “if the positive trend of the first 8 months of 2017 will be confirmed, Italy could bring its export well over 200 milion”.

Pier Paolo Celeste, the director of Ice in Moscow, is very enthusiastic about the performance of Italian wines on the Russian market.  “182.716 liters of italian wine, were sold per day, during the period from January to August 2017”  sayd Celeste.
