Alfonsino Delivery, financing round of 436 thousand Euros

Turnover grew by + 130% and staff growth by + 190%

According to the B2c e-commerce observatory of the Milan Polytechnic and Netcomm, in 2019 food delivery was the first sector of the online market with a turnover of 556 million euros. The positive trend of the pandemic year also saw Alfonsino Delivery among the protagonists, with growth in terms of turnover and personnel: + 130% turnover and positive Ebitda and + 190% increase in workers. Alfonsino is a 100% Italian food delivery, from which it is possible to book in two ways: via the Facebook chat, without credentials, thanks to the native chatbot developed in-house, or by downloading the company's app available for free on the App Store and Google Play Store where you also have the ability to track in real time the rider who will deliver the meal, from taking charge to dedicated post delivery assistance.

In the year that has just ended, Alfonsino has further expanded its network by reaching over 300 Italian municipalities distributed in 8 regions with over 950 partner restaurants, 800 hired riders and 250,000 active customers on the platform. Made in Italy food delivery delivered almost 9 million Euros of dishes in 2020 (thanks to more than 300,000 deliveries) equal to 265% compared to the previous year. He was also the protagonist of an equity crowdfunding campaign on the 200Crowd platform which raised 436 thousand euros with an overfunding of 125% on the set target. Italian food delivery aims to gather 1,500 restaurants in the next 10 months and hire 3,000 riders by 2022.
