Svinando lands in Germany

The new platform of Italian Wine Brands

Svinando lands in Germany. This was announced by Italian Wine Brands which controls the platform, among the first to have adopted the model of private wine sales online. Svinando landed on the German market in December 2020 through the spin-off replicating the experience of Svinando Italia, which in six years has satisfied the tastes of over 100 thousand wine lovers: from those looking for excellent bottles at exclusive prices, difficult to find, or even less known labels of small local producers always at advantageous prices. German consumers who prefer Italian wine can therefore take advantage of the service, selection, quality and price that characterize the platform. Among the strengths of, which follows a line of promotions and always new proposals, there are also "always on" discounts: every day customers have the opportunity to buy wines on offer with discounts that can reach up to 50% on the recommended price, especially on packs of six bottles. and boast 1,000 labels ranging from large Italian denominations (about 80% of the catalog in volumes) to wines from all over the world. Since 2018, Svinando is part of Italian Wine Brands (Iwb), a wine group listed on the Milan Stock Exchange which today brings together under its own control the companies Giordano Vini, Provinco Italia and Raphael Dal Bo, for a total of over 60 million bottles sold per year, between direct sales and large-scale distribution. The 2020 turnover was 204.3 million (+ 29.7% compared to 2019), of which 23.3 million achieved through its own proprietary e-commerce platforms (+ 74.1% compared to 2019).

Iwb produces and distributes proprietary brand wines directly on a global scale (Grande Alberone, Ronco di Sassi, Giordano Vini, Oroperla, Aimone, Elettra) with an export share of around 80%.
