Hungary supports the food industry
And Vita-Sütő completes a plant for bakery products by investing 2 million euros
Vita-Sütő Kft has completed a major investment of around 2 million euros for the development of the production plant in Komárom, north-west of Hungary. The company, active in the bakery products sector, obtained a state funding of 280 million florins (about 800,000 euros) for the realization of the project. During the inauguration of the plant, the Hungarian Minister of Finance Mihály Varga stressed that as part of the Program for the development of large companies, investments were made in 179 national companies for a total value of about 1 billion euros over the last 5 years.
The minister also stated that the government of Budapest considers the food industry a strategic sector, and that further funding is foreseen for the development of the sector. Ice from Budapest reports on friday.
