Italian Arte Bianca increases production
The company, with the brand PanPiuma, leader in sandwich bread, has expanded its Venice plant
Adriano Anzanello, founder, and his son Massimiliano, current Ceo at Arte Bianca, together with authorities and employees, have inaugurated the expansion of the Marghera plant - close to Venice - with a new production line. An occasion to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company's foundation, where was born PanPiuma, a light breadcrust sandwich with no crust. The new plant, which required an investment of 9 million euros, will bring the production capacity from 16 to 40 million pieces per year of the company's top product, with an increase of 140 percent. Every day 300 quintals of flour come in and 450-500 of bread come out. The number of employees will also be increased by 30 units. In this service Massimiliano Anzanello illustrates at EFA News the stages of the project and the development prospects of the company, which is the leader in Italy in its sector. Father Adriano, founder of Arte Bianca, and the councilor for economic development of the City of Venice, Simone Venturini, also spoke.
