The Iglo, Findus and Birds Eye brand owner saw revenue lift 10% to €538 million
European frozen food giant Nomad Foods reported its tenth consecutive quarter of organic revenue growth for the second quarter of 2019. The Iglo, Findus and Birds Eye brand owner saw revenue lift 10% to €538 million; profit of €46m; EBITDA of €98m, up 10% from Q2 2018.
Stefan Descheemaeker, Nomad Foods’ CEO, rated the second quarter as "strong". “Performance continues to be fueled by investments that we have been making in our brands, people and capabilities, combined with an unwavering commitment to superior execution. Our core portfolio continues to outperform the frozen food category. Meanwhile, the firm is developing a pipeline of adjacent new product lines such as its plant protein sub-brand, Green Cuisine, which will complement the core and help deliver growth for years to come", he said.
