The international exhibition of organic and natural products of BolognaFiere is starting

The appointment with "Sana Restart" is approaching, the international exhibition of organic and natural products, scheduled at the Bologna exhibition center from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October. Food, health and sustainability , increasingly at the center of the attention of Italians, will have great visibility within the event that will host the protagonists of the organic and natural market.

Recent market analyzes such as the "Coop 2020 Report. Consumption and lifestyles of Italians of today and tomorrow", highlight how the pandemic has strengthened some trends and lifestyles of Italians, increasingly directed towards healthy choices of character green and bio. About 70% of Italians exclude reducing their spending to put fewer products in the cart, or products of lower quality; 20% of the interviewees believe that "eating well and in a healthy way" will be the "first essential ingredient for the recipe for happiness in 2021". During the lockdown, in fact, the Italians experienced a return to “home made” cuisine. 27% of Italians claim to have purchased a greater quantity of sustainable and green-friendly products in the months following the spread of the epidemic.

The event, promoted by BolognaFiere in collaboration with FederBio and AssoBio, is an opportunity to take stock of the latest news from the organic world. A review that, right from the claim, "The Restart goes from Bio", has the ambition to affirm the growth of a sector that is a candidate to be one of the driving sectors for the relaunch of the country.

Among the main organic certifying bodies, there will be: Ccpb, Icea, Consorzio IlBiologico, Suolo e Salute, Bioagricert, Bios, Valoritalia, Csqa, and the major distributors, starting with Biotobio, EcorNaturasì, Probios and Padovana Macificazione. Important producers and large collectives will also participate, including those of Cia, Demeter, Campania region, the Bologna Chamber of Commerce, the Bioexport Consortium, Agri.Bio.Piemonte, Vlabel, the Italian Vegetarian Association.

In addition to the thematic pillars, the event presents a new focus: "Free from Hub", the showcase to give visibility to products that are not only natural and organic, but also free from, which will also host the "World Gluten Free Beer Award" competition, the only one in the world dedicated exclusively to gluten-free beers. The "Organic Revolution" initiative will be central to the entire organization of the exhibition, during which thematic tables will follow one another aimed at increasing a debate on the importance of environmental protection. In this context, the Sana 2020 observatory will also be presented, useful for monitoring the key numbers of the organic supply chain.
