Ieg: internationality and business for sweet foodservice
From 15 to 17 March, the Sigep Exp The Digital Experience starts



Ieg (Italian Exhibition Group) keeps alive the fil rouge with the out-of-home market, starting from the sweet foodservice segment. Waiting for the physical edition, in January 2022 (see EFA News article of 27-1-21), of Sigep, the iconic world event dedicated to ice cream, pastry, artisan bakery and coffee, Ieg will converge digitally from 15 to On March 17th, the thousands of Italian and international sweet out of home companies thanks to Sigep Exp The Digital Experience. It is a platform (and a connected app) to reach the community of professionals and companies of its four supply chains, an opportunity for the whole Horeca world to do business, listen to the needs of operators, present new lines, develop networking. The platform will be open to visitors from 8 March: pending the official opening of the event, the visitor will be able to consult the product catalog, the news section, scheduled events and request appointments from exhibitors using the "Agenda" function.
Demos made by some of the major companies in the supply chains will be embedded in the schedule of Sigep Exp The Digital Experience. Like, among others, for the ice cream sector: Babbi, Bravo, Carpigiani, Fabbri 1905, Frigomat, Gruppo Optima (with the brands Mec3, Giuso, Pernigotti and Modecor), Ifi, Isa, Leagel. For the coffee sector: Barbera 1870, Caffè Kenon, Costadoro, Club Cavé, Dersut Caffè, Gruppo Cimbali, Julius Meinl. For pastry and bakery: Dolciaria Acquaviva, Europastry, Italmill, Irinox, Italforni Pesaro, Molino Dallagiovanna, Novaterra Zeelandia, Robopac, Selmi - Reversecoffee 1841, Sigma.
At Sigep Exp, thanks to the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ice Agency, which has activated over 30 offices around the world, and the work of IEG's regional advisors, the already confirmed buyers will connect from China, India , Iran, Tunisia, Algeria, Brazil, Argentina, Russia, Ukraine, Denmark, Germany and Spain, thus maximizing networking and business opportunities.
The strong points of the event will be the “Vision Plaza” and the “Sigep Lab”. The “Vision Plaza” will consolidate Sigep's role as a beacon for macro-trends in the sector and will be set up at the Palacongressi di Rimini in a real television studio, for an immersive and interactive experience.
