Granoro, the Italian pasta excellence

The Company presented at Cibus 2018 new products also for the foreign market

It’s a pioneer in the 100% made in Puglia pasta production. We are talking about Granoro, the family owned pasta factory, founded in Corato, the birthplace of the best Italian and European durum wheat.

It was established by Attilio Mastromauro, descendant of an age-old family of pasta making industrialists, who, following the tradition, launched his own pasta factory in 1967, also designing the production machineries, even if the brand was invented by his wife Chiara, who supported him since the beginning.

“The desire to be the best” -the founder, who passed away a few years ago, claimed- “It is a continuous daily commitment and you can do better tomorrow than you did yesterday”.  Today the tradition of Granoro, whose mission is to enhance Italian agriculture, is carried on by his daughters Marina and Daniela.  

For this reason at Cibus 2018, the 19th Food Exhibition in Parma, the company launched  high purity selected Bio Granoro Varietà Cappelli pasta and relaunched the “DEDICATO” label, involving more than 140 territorial producers in the production chain. 

As a matter of fact “Dedicato” is the first 100% made in Puglia pasta, certified with the regional quality trademark “Prodotti di Qualità di Puglia”.
