DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences in partnership for innovation with Iftf

Developing solutions through customers, who anticipate market changes

DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences has entered into a partnership with the Palo Alto's Institute for the Future (Iftf) to promote innovation in the food and beverage industry. By partnering with Ifts, the company's food and beverage platform aims to develop forward-looking innovations through customers, who anticipate changes in market needs. The institute's think tank maps the market's drivers and signals and provides long-term prospects for change, including predictions of disruptive "megatrends" in the food industry.

Birgitte Borch, global marketing, food and beverage exponent of DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences, said, “Short-term product development strategies are common in the food industry, where consumer demands are constantly changing. It is not uncommon for new food and beverage launches to be an instinctive reaction to a trend that manifests itself suddenly. "
"We will examine the development of trends in addition to consumer behavior and develop a strategic forecast with scenarios that impact the food industry in the short and long term. This will help our customers navigate uncertain times and understand the impact on value. chain with a holistic view of challenges and opportunities. Our work with Ifts will enable us to be prepared with the right solutions, appropriate technology and application concepts, and will enable our customers to be more proactive in their product development strategies".
