European Livestock Voice and Sustainable Meat: "The 9 paradoxes of the Farm to Fork"

European Livestock Voice and Sustainable Meat are preparing for the launch of the video: "The 9 paradoxes of Farm to Fork", Thursday 25 March at 11 am, live streaming from the Brussels Press Club. The EU Farm to Fork strategy is very ambitious, and the European livestock sector wants to make its knowledge and know-how available so as not to waste the heritage of agricultural traditions and the enormous progress made. EU farmers are actors committed to change towards greater sustainability, and they want to avoid that the Farm to Fork approach is based on erroneous preconceptions.

European Livestock Voice and Sustainable Meat, the Italian project for the sustainable production and conscious consumption of meats and cured meats, have identified 9 paradoxes and analyzed them in a series of short videos that will be made available simultaneously in 7 countries and in 7 languages of the EU (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish). The event will be introduced by Birthe Steenberg, general secretary of Avec and representative of European Livestock Voice, and by professor Giuseppe Pulina, president of Carni Sostenibili; a question and answer session with the audience will follow.
