Amadori, 2017 revenues over 1.2 billion euros

Ebitda of 103 min (+24%). Francesco Berti appointed new General Manager.

During the traditional meeting with financial institutions, Amadori has presented its 2017 annual report, confirming the group as a leading company of the poultry sector and more generally of the Italian agri-food sector.

Total revenues achieved 1,208 million euros (+3.6% compared to 2016). In addition to revenues performance, also company’s Ebitda increased: 103 million euros (+24% compared to last year).

“We are satisfied with last year’s results - Flavio Amadori, Chairman of the group, said - concerning the general growth of the company.

We achieved this performance through several process and product innovation plans, in addition to a marketing plan, aiming to achieve a continually improving customer service level. 2017 results reward our co-workers’ commitment, who are more than 7.600 all over Italy, and allow our company to improve its development towards a modern food company, ready to fulfill the consumer needs”.

The above mentioned results are also connected to the important 2015-2017 investment plan: 170 million euros to achieve all growth opportunities in a fast-evolving market.

For the upcoming years, the industrial plan forecasts other 200 million euros investments till 2022, addressed to develop new production chains and strengthen the current ones.

Furthermore, the company officially announced the appointment of Francesco Berti as new General Manager. Francesco Berti, already in Amadori since 2013 covering several positions, has been CFO since 2015.
