Burger King, Alessandro Lazzaroni is the new Italian country manager

He launched Domino's Pizza in Italy

The news is not yet official but, according to EFA News, the group of Italian franchisees has just been informed: Alessandro Lazzaroni , current manager of Domino's Pizza, becomes Burger King's new country manager for Italy. EFA News had announced the departure of the previous CEO, Andra Valota (see EFA News of 5/10/2020) who now seems destined to lead the La Piadineria group.

Lazzaroni, 40, after graduating from Bocconi University, joined McDonald's Italy, holding the role of Business Insight Manager. Subsequently he obtained a Masters in Administration and Management Control as well as an Executive MBA, both at the Business Management School of Bocconi University. In 2010 he moved to Bain & Company as a consultant, specializing in the Retail sector. From 2013 to 2015 he then returned to the company as retail director for Galbusera. Since 2015 he has been involved in the launch and development in Italy of the American chain Domino's Pizza in Italy as a master franchisee.
