Marchesi 1824: Ivan Haller appointed new CEO

Prada, owner of the Milan-based brand, aims to strengthen and further develop it

Ivan Haller is the new CEO of Marchesi 1824. He has over 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality, developing and leading restaurant and food & beverage businesses in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the Caribbean, and the Americas. His international career includes experiences in environments characterized by high service standards, attention to detail, and a strong multicultural dimension.

Throughout his career, he served as Global Head of Food and Beverage Operations and Development at Aman, where he led the group's international food & beverage strategy for hotels, private residences, yachts, and aircraft. He also contributed to the development of Janu's culinary offering and oversaw the opening of Aman New York.

Most recently, Haller served as President of Nexus Luxury Collection, based in the Bahamas, where he oversaw hospitality and food & beverage initiatives within the group's portfolio, including Albany, overseeing openings and developments in London, New York, and St Andrews, as well as collaborations with Michelin-starred chefs.

Ivan Haller 's career path "will contribute to the enhancement and development of Marchesi 1824, with particular attention to the quality of the offering, service, and attention to detail," the company commented in a statement.

Marchesi 1824 is a historic establishment in the Milanese tradition of pastries, renowned for the quality of its products, its meticulous attention to detail, and its dedication to hospitality. Now part of the Prada Group, the historic pastry shop continues its development while respecting its identity and the heritage that defines its history.
