Caffitaly arrives on the Indonesian market

The agreement with Coca-Cola Amatil, one of the world's leading Coca-Cola bottlers

Caffitaly System S.p.A. announces a new a partnership for the Indonesian market with Coca-Cola Amatil (Cca), one of the world's leading Coca-Cola bottlers and one of  the most important beverage producers and distributors in Asia-Pacific.

Caffitaly System S.p.A. is one of the major players in the sector of the portioned coffee market. Caffitaly operates through three production and logistics plants in Bologna, Milan and Bergamo and employs about 350 people, with a turnover of over 138 million euros in 2016.

The company, with 80% duty of export, and a distribution in over 70 countries, arrives for the first time on the Indonesian market.

The agreement, active since 19 December 2017, provides for the exclusive distribution in Indonesia, through the internal distribution network of Cca, of 3 machines, based on the patented Caffitaly system, and 3 different lines of coffee in capsules of the Grinders brand, developed specifically to respond to the particular needs of the Indonesian market.

For Caffitaly, Indonesia represents a new opportunity for the business. For Amatil, the agreement with Caffitaly represents an important step in the growth of the Indonesian market and the Alcohol & Coffee sector. The products made by Caffitaly will, in fact, be added to the Alcohol & Coffee portfolio, which  includes a wide selection of premium spirits, ready-to-drink, beers and ciders, as well as coffee, tea and chocolate drinks, numerous other drinks and the famous soft drinks.
